Her song lyrics feel like a conversation with a good friend, and her composing and performing talents have been amply rewarded. She was a finalist at the Napa Valley Folk Festival and was a winner at both the Rocky Mountain Songwriting Contest and the Telluride Folk Festival. Nancy's signature song "Drops in a Bucket" won a national songwriting contest in 1998 and more recently, the same song took 2nd place in the 2000 John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Nancy has taken her music to venues throughout the country, including the renowned Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and the Fast Folk Cafe in NewYork City. Lucky for Utah audiences, she prefers to stay close to home where she can be with her husband and three small children.
