The atmosphere Utah Pioneers held their annual Wlllow Keception Center in Provo was festive and a wonderful dinner din-ner was served. The entertainment was a quartet quar-tet consisting of Rebecca Wright, Kari Wendt, Emma Pyne, and Sunny Doller, accompanied by Geri Miller, who sang 3 numbers. Phyllis Roundy played several numbers on the spoons. A fun game was played while the ladies exchanged gifts. Every year the Orem Camp contributes con-tributes to the Forgotten Patients at the Utah State Hospital. This year the amount of items donated was greatly increased. Registration deadline for ACT is January 5 College-bound high school students can take the ACT Assessment As-sessment on February 10, 2001, the next nationwide test date. Council sets public hearings The Orem City Council set the dates and times for three upcoming upcom-ing public hearings as part of its work December 12. The hearings are held in the City Council Chambers in the Orem City Center. Cen-ter.
