It is my feeling that Orem has a bright and exciting future, and I wish to take major part in carrying the city into the 21st century. The city has in place ample police and fire protection and adequate water supply. Public interaction, always a goal, has been carried out to a level unprecedented in past administrations. Such interaction will continue at a high level. Maintenance of a high quality of life for the citizens of Orem is of highest priority. The city is now in a position to develop 250 acres of open land in various areas of Orem for the use of its citizens. Playing fields for youth and adult programs are main priorities. Growth of the city should continue, both for business and people. They are corollary to each other. Quality of life within the city is contingent upon the interaction of citizens and business. It is imperative that the city maintain a strong economic base. My devotion to this city has been demonstrated throughout my eight years as a member of the City Council, and during my previous tenure as Mayor. ; Orem has a bright future, and I wish to take part in its continuation.
