Services will be developed with specific emphasis on outreach out-reach to the undocumented, un-derserved, un-derserved, and at risk, with priority given to women, children, and the elderly. Programs will encompass en-compass education, health, and social services. The announcement was made as closing preparations are underway un-derway for the sale of Holy Cross Health Services of Utah (HCHSU) to HealthTrust, Inc. HCHSU is a subsidiary of Holy Cross Health System Corporation, Corpora-tion, which is sponsored by the congregation to operate its health ministry in the United States. The sale of HCHSU to Health-Trust Health-Trust involves Holy Cross Hospital Hospi-tal of Salt Lake City; Holy Cross Jordan Valley Hospital in West Jordan; St. Benedict's Hospital in Ogden; and various clinics along the Wasatch Front. The transaction transac-tion does not include either the Holy Cross Hospital Foundation or the St. Benedict's Foundation. Sister Alice Mary Quintana, CSC, R.N., M.S., will serve as executive ex-ecutive director of Holy Cross Ministries, Sister Catherine announced. an-nounced. Sister Alice Mary has significant health administration and nursing experience. Since September 1993, Sister had been director ol Holy Cross Continuing Care at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City; she also served as ;a nurse at the hospital in the late 1960s and early 1970s. For three years, Sister Alice Mary was administrator ad-ministrator of Saint Elizabeth of ; I i If 'f. J Hungary Clinic, Tucson, Arizona. Her nursing background includes both acute care and home care settings. Sister Alice Mary received her master's degree in community health nursingadministration from the University of Arizona, Tucson, and her bachelor of science degree in nursing at Consortium Con-sortium of the California State University, Domingues Hills, Carson, California. Holy Cross Ministries, a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 corporation in the state of Utah, will be established estab-lished as a subsidiary of Holy Cross Health System after the closing of the sale of HCHSU to HealthTrust. Start-up will begin in the fall of 1994. Holy Cross Ministries will be funded from four sources: unrestricted un-restricted funds previously donated to the Holy Cross Hospital Hospi-tal Foundation; interest from an endowment established with proceeds from the sale of HCHSU; fund-raising by a Holy Cross Ministries development committee; and start-up support from Holy Cross Health System's Mission Outreach Fund and the Vivian Skaggs Armstrong Foundation. The board will have representation from tffe Sisters of the Holy Cross, Holy Cross Health System, the Diocese of Salt Lake City, and the local community. The bride-to-be graduated from American Fork High School Wendy Mayson to marry Michael Ashby in Temple Wendy Ann Mayson, daughter of Jack and Ann Mayson of Portland, Oregon, will marry Michael Ray Ashby, son of Gary and Mildred Ashby of Orem, on Saturday, August 13, in the Portland Temple. An open house will be held in their honor at the Lakeridge 10th Ward chapel at 665 S. 200 W. in Orem from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, August 19th. Albert Rowleys to celebrate 60th anniversary Aug. 15 Albert and Lucy Rowley are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on August 15, 1994. They are going to have a party that evening with their children and grandchildren. Then in September, Sep-tember, they and their children are going on a cruise. Albert was born on January 31, 1915, to William Parley and Nellie Ann Gurr Rowley. Albert served in World War H in the Navy for two years. He worked for the pipe plant and retired from Geneva Steel in 1976. Albert married mar-ried Lucy LaVern Prestwich on August 15, 1934, in the Salt Lake I Temple. Lucy was born August 24, 1916, to Cyrus Eugene and Elnor Roselthy Bunnell Prestwich. Lucy is an avid counted cross-stitcher, cross-stitcher, crocheter, and quilter. She has entered many quilts in shows and has won many ribbons. She sells quilts and baby shawls to Mormon Handicraft. She has made quilts for all of her children from the Holy Cross Hospital Foundation. Sarah Marie Crandall to wed John David Cutler in Temple Sarah Marie Crandall, daughter of Ken L. and Linda Crandall of Orem, will marry John David Cutler, son of Dr. Kenneth N. and Helen Cutler of Belmont, Mass., on Tuesday, August 16, in the Salt Lake Temple. A reception will honor the couple that same evening, August 16, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Springville Museum of Art, 126 East 400 South, Springville, Utah. The bride-to-be graduated from Orem High School and has and completed a phlebotomy course at Alta View. She is a phlebotomist at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. She belongs to the Lone Peak Four-Wheel Four-Wheel Drive Club. The prospective groom graduated from Mountain View High School. He also belongs to the Lone Peak Four-Wheel Drive Club. He will be training at the Fire Academy at Utah Valley State College in the fall. The couple will make their home in Orem. The bride-to-be graduated from Sunset High School and is a senior attending BYU in Molecular Biology. Her fiance graduated from Orem High School. He served an LDS Mission in Seattle Washington. Wash-ington. He is a senior at BYU studying electrical engineering and is a cadet in the Air Force ROTC. and grandchildren. Lucy retired from the Relief Society Distribution Distribu-tion Center in 1976. Together, Albert and Lucy served an LDS mission in Winnipeg, Win-nipeg, Canada, in 1977 and 1978. They are both active in the Church and have held many teaching and leadership positions. posi-tions. They have always enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling with their family and friends. They have 12 grandchildren grand-children and 30 great-grandchildren. They are dearly loved by their children and grandchildren. Dewey Woodward to celebrate 80th Birthday Darward (Dewey) Woodward will celebrate his 80th birthday at an open house to be hosted by his family on Thursday, August 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the residence of John Davis, 1423 S. 605 East, Orem. Dewey was born at Cedar View, Utah on August 18, 1914 to John William Woodward and MaryEllen Sturgis Woodward. He lived in the LindonOrem Provo area all his life. As a youth he farmed.
