Reid as the mortgage loan officer for the Orem branch, located at 1356 South Main. He will oversee all mortgages in the Utah County area for the recently opened branch of the credit union. Reid is a 1980 graduate of Brigham Young University in business management with emphasis em-phasis in finance and is currently an Orem resident. Before Reid was appointed to the America First position, he was a mortgage loan officer for . First Security Bank in Orem. He has also been affiliated with Utah Title Company as an escrow officer of-ficer and Chase Manhattan of Utah as a credit loan administrator. ad-ministrator. With twenty-four branches, America First is Utah's largest credit union. Membership is open to state residents with a $25 deposit in a share saving account. Currently the credit union 2,768 of the credit union's 173,199 members are based at the Orem branch. Total assets for America First are $809,341,146. Others at the ceremony include staff members, Chamber of Commerce Pacesetters, and those associated with design and construction of the building. -Nietzsche Industry West holds groundbreaking Things are really moving at Industry West Electronics, Groundbreaking ceremonies were held August 17 at 1410 West Business Park Drive in the Orem Business Park on Geneva road to begin construction on a 16,025 square foot building. This will be the third move to larger quarters for the growing company which began in 1979 with three people in a storage shed on 800 North. At that time they were building things for the LDS Church. Currently Industry West Electronics is located at 270 North Geneva Road and employs 25 people. The company has two divisions: The Electronic Division and the Precision Sheet Metal Division. "Recent purchases of a number num-ber of large sheet metal machines and increased demand for sheet metal fabrication and electronic assembly has made it necessary to move to a larger facility," said Darold Francis, President of IWE. "The demand for our services ser-vices has been increasing. Our efficiency ef-ficiency will also be increased by moving both divisions into one building."
