ROBYN CRYSTAL Robyn Crystal to serve in Paris Mission Sister Robyn Crystal, daughter daugh-ter of Pamela South and the Late Sidney Crystal, will serve in the France Paris Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. Merrall Skinner Merrall Ray Skinner, 59, died March 7, 1991 in Price. He was born Dec. 8, 1931 in Provo to Marion and Burnetta Allen Skinner. Skin-ner. Julia F. Swan : Julia Mae Faux Swan, 81, died ; March 17, 1991 in Provo, Utah of " causes incident to age. She was born ' April 20, 1909 in Moroni, Utah, a ; daughter of Helena Adela Eliason 1 and Jabez Faux, Jr. She married ; Charles B. Swan, Jr. on October 11, 1930 in Moroni. Their marriage later . was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS , Temple. He preceded her in death on January 17, 1955. She graduated from Moroni High School and received her Normal Diploma from BYUin 1929. She was a member of the LDS Church and served as a counselor in the Primary, as secretary of the Relief Society and MIA and as a visiting teacher. She has lived in Moroni and Big Cottonwood Cotton-wood Canyon and Terminal Substation Substa-tion of Utah Power and Light in Salt Lake City. She moved to Orem in 1944. She was born Jan. 11, 1918 in Provo, a daughter of William J. and Edna Brown Warner. She married Russell Stringham Nov. 26, 1934 in Salt Lake City. She is survived bv her husband of Provo; two sons, three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; three sisters including Audrey SpackmanofOrem. Gordon Collard Gordon Elmer Collard, 77, Provo, died March 12, 1991 in Provo. He was born Dec. 11, 1913 in Rap-son, Rap-son, Colo., a son of Harry Gordon and Mary Elizabeth Kessner Collard. He married Rea Zell Collard on Oct. 24, 1934, in Coalville. Their marriage later was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was born on Jan. 7, 1916 in Hinckley, to Don Alma and Nora Harriet Har-riet Slaughter Bishop. He married Dolpha Miske in the Salt Lake Temple on April 8, 1940. He was born Dec. 19, 1908, in Mapleton, to Ernest Erman and Florence Gale Stone. He married Marie Hutchinson, Dec. 16, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Pinkston, 78, died March 15, 1991 at his home in Orem. He was born March 20, 19 12 in Salt Lake City. He was the second son of Everett Millard and Clara Margaret Pinkston. Beginning September 1932, he served a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Central States Mission. He married Dorethea Beatrice Davis in 1934. They had six children. He served in many leadership positions, posi-tions, including stake mission presi-. presi-. dent, served three stake missions, high councilman, bishopric member, bishop of the North Hollywood Ward, stake presidency member, mission president in the Gulf States Mission from 1965 to 1968, sealer in the Los Angeles Temple, patriarch in the Utah Midway Stake, and also worked for the church missionary department. depart-ment. He was a businessman and land developer in the Los Angeles area until he retired and moved to Utah. Survivors include his wife of Orem; three sons: E. Their marriage later was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was born July 31, 1897 in El Tumbador, San Marcos, Guatemala, a daughter of Casimiro Lopez and Lorenza Ochoa. She married Jose Romualdo Maldonado De Leon, May 20, 1914, in San Marcos, Guatemala. Their marriage was sealed in the Provo LDS Temple, in February 1979. HediedAug.il, 1944. She received her education in Guatemala and in 1972 was baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She immigrated im-migrated to the United States in 1978 to be with her family here and to see them graduate from Brigham Young University. She is survived by one son and two daughters, Cristina Maldonado, Orem; Dagoberto Maldonado, Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico; Maria Antonia Flores, San Marcos, Guatemala; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren in the United States.
