' Spencer Elementary Chorus was applauded by Parents and Teachers after sing ing an entertaining medley of favorite American Songs at the annual Science and Health Fair. Their Chorister Kay Anderson led them in songs such as, Three Blind Mice, Shortn'in' Bread and God Bless America. Also at the Fair were displays demonstrations and movies on topics such as, electricity, communications, computers, dinosaurs, car safety, head lice, and emergency first aid. Those who attended the Fair found it entertaining and educational. Ghief Peacock Elected President Utah Chiefs, Wife To Head Auxiliary Orem Chief Ted Peacock of the Department of Public Safety was elected president of the Utah Chiefs' Association at the annual convention held last weekend at St. George. In rare action the members also elected his wife, Cynthia, president of the Auxiliary Association. More than 100 members attended the three-day meet. Chief Kal Farr of West Jordan was elected 1st vice president and Chief Daren Green of Clearfield was elected secretary-treasurer. Sergeant at arms is Chief Brent Leseberg of Alpine. Serving with Mrs. Peacock will be Karen Ferre of Pleasant Grove as vice president, Bea Johnson of Monticello as secretary-treasurer and Barbara Wilson of North Salt Lake as corresponding secretary. Nancy Larkins of Kaysville is historian. i Chief Peacock's duties are . mainly involved in legislative matters pertaining to better law enforcement. He will serve on three committees: the Utah Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice, and the Police Officers Standards and Training Committee; and the Criminal Justice Management Information System. Mrs. Peacock's duties are mainly social and involve planning a winter social and attending the annual convention and assisting with the event. F. M. Bringhurst Is Commissioned Frederick M. Bringhurst, son of Frederick R. and June G. Bringhurst of 3346 Valencia Hill Drive, Riverside, Calif., has been commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force upon graduation from Officer Training School at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. The 12-week course trained selected college graduates to apply communicative skills, professional knowledge, leadership and management manage-ment in positions of responsibility. '' Bringhurst will now be assigned at William Air Force Base, Ariz. His wife, Kelly, is the daughter of Clark L. and Betty J. Cox of 778 North 480 West, Orem, Utah. Smith 266-2949, SLC Kindergarten Registration At Scera Park Kindergarten registration for Scera Park Elementary School will be held on Tuesday, April 9th, at 3:10 p.m. Parents should bring the child that will be registering in kindergarten with them to this registration. The child must be five years old on or before September 1st of this year. If you have a birth certificate, please bring it with you. State law requires that they have proper immunization before entering kindergarten. You will be given an immunization card at registration. If you have a child to be registered in kindergarten next year, we would appreciate very much your registering on this day and receiving the information we have for you. It is very important that these students be registered now so we know what our load will be and how many teachers we will need. Missing Girl Located Safe A nine year old Indian girl, Sheydene Murdock, missing for several hours Saturday while visiting with her family from Grace, Idaho, was located safe but cold at the Utah Technical College. An examination showed the girl suffered no harm and apparently just walked away from the yard where she was playing about 9th South and 7th West in Oren .
