Football '83 Steve Young of the "Y" is a talented quarterback, For he can deliver the ball and prevent the sack. Tiamalu and Hamilton are successful with the run, To mix these plays together many touchdowns always come. Brilliant coaching and strategy comes through La Veil. Thousands fill the stadium with opportunities to yell. The offensive linesman are very strong, trained, and tall, And really love to play major college football. The receivers, Hudson and Kozlowski, go high to snag the pass. They run deceiving patterns and are truly first class. When viciously tackled they hold the ball tight, And have the guts to do things just right. Our defensive team is good in their special way. They penetrate the opposing line and stop short the play. Let us name two great men like Flint and Shell, But they all need credit for they play hard and well.
