Dig Game Board Sets '83 Seasons The Utah Board Game Control met Saturday, June 11, to set the 1983-84 big game seasons and regulations. The outcome had few surprises. The application period for all big game hunting permits to be accepted ac-cepted by mail only at a post office box number listed in the proclamation. Division officials hope the mail-in application procedure will eliminate confusion and be more convenient for applicants. Several Changes passed by the 1983 State Legislature will affect this year's hunting. Fifteen-year olds turning 16 in the 1983 calendar year will be able to purchase a big game license and apply for permits if desired. The new hunters are reminded that if they are in the field at 15 years of age, they must be accompanied by a person 21 years of age or older. Military personnel can qualify immediately for resident hunting and fishing licenses if they meet certain requirements. Check with the nearest Division office for details. TbM It didn't come easy.
