The Open House will be held at the Vineyard LDS Ward, 800 S. Geneva Road, Orem. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. They request no gifts. Mr. Spalding was born Dec. 1, 1904 in Stockton. He later moved to Provo and received his education in Orem. He graduated from the old Lincoln High School in Orem. Mrs. Spalding was born March 31, 1905 in Lakeview. She grew up in the Orem-Provo area and also graduated from' Lincoln High. The couple were married June 26, 1930. They owned a turkey farm for over 40 years in the Vineyard area of Orem but are now retired from that business. Mr. Spalding worked as a bookkeeper for 40 years at Utah Poultry in Provo. Children of the couple are: William Spalding, Orem; Connie Spalding, Orem; and Idyll Thayne, Lehi. They have 13 grandchildren. Enjoy the benefits of floatation sleep tonight! Special guests will be Mr. and Mrs. Frank Andersen An-dersen of Salt Lake City, grandparents of the groom, and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Baldwin of Riverside, River-side, Calif., aunt and uncle un-cle of the bride. Prenuptial parties given by Mindy Matley, Mrs. Beth Ann Griggs, and Mrs. Susan Affleck. The bridal pair graduated from BYU in June where both majored in financp. The prospective prospec-tive bride also studied with BYU Study Abroad in London. The prospective prospec-tive groom filled an LDS mission to the Chile Santiago San-tiago South Mission. After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, they will make their home in Orem where Mr. Griggs is employed em-ployed as a zone coordinator coor-dinator at the Missionary Training Center. In September, Sep-tember, they will live in Salt Lake City while he pursues an advanced degree at the University of Utah. Mutt Costume Show Planned Don W illett, president of the Utah Valley Dog Kennel Club, is planning a speciaL mutt costume show Saturday Satur-day afternoon.
