Tracy Jepperson is absent. Timp Cave Schedule After Labor Day the fall schedule sch-edule for Timpanogos Cave National Nat-ional Monument will be effective. Tickets for cave tours may be purchased at the Visitor Center from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at a cost of 50 cents for anyone 16 years of age or older. There is no charge for anyone under 16, but they must remain with an adult throughout the entire hike. Groups of 10 or more persons must make reservations in advance ad-vance by calling 756-4497 between bet-ween 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. One adult supervisor is required for every ten persons under age 16. Groups without reservations reser-vations will not be accomodated. The summer evening programs will, also, terminate on Labor Day for the season. Cave tours will continue through the fall until winter weather requires closing the cave. Orem Elementary Elects Officers Orem Elementary School students stu-dents have just completed electing elect-ing their first student government. govern-ment. The school is set up like the State with a governor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, Trea-surer, City inspectors and monitors. moni-tors. Each classroom functions like a city with its own mayor and council. The fifth grade classes are writing a School Constitution. To spark additional school spirit the student council is selecting a school mascot, school colors, and ordering school T-shirts. Students are loving their new responsibilities and the school is functioning very smoothly.
