Show Leonard Carl Long Leo-iard Carl Long, 70, 491 N. 1025 W., Orem died July 20 of emphysema. He was born November 18, 1904 in Pueblo, Colorado to Alfred Al-fred Monroe and Celia Marie Schaukowitch Long. He married Channie Abell in 1924 in Colorado Colo-rado Springs, Col, and they were later divorced. In 1954, he married Alma L. Johnson in Elko, Nevada. She died in 1964. He married Donna L. Box Rothwell in 1966 in Ely, Nevada and she died in 1973. He was employed by the Colorado Colo-rado Fuel & Iron Co. from 1918 to 1929. He moved to Chicago, 111. and worked for U.S. Steel Co. from 1929 to 1937. He then moved to Cleveland, Ohio and worked for Otis Steel He moved to Youngstown, Ohio, and had worked for United Engineering Engineer-ing in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Mr. Long moved to Orem in 1943 and was employed for Geneva Gen-eva Steel Co. until 1959. He as a Melter Foreman for several seve-ral years. He had served in the U.S. Marine Corps for two years and had operated cafes in Salt Lake City, Heber and Orem until 1973. All Crater Lake Visitors Warned Any local vacationers who might have been traveling in the area of Crater Lake anytime between be-tween June 15 and the present time are to contact the local Health Department if they display any of the symptoms of hepatitis, hepati-tis, health officials state. The water system in Crater Lake was contaminated about June 15, says a note received from the Utah Division of Health by the local officials. Any person who shows any illness ill-ness like hepatitis or if the disease di-sease should be diagnosed as such by a physician, should contact the City-County Health Department Depart-ment as soon as they possibly can. Thomas and Mrs. MacNiel (Alta) Boyton, both of Orem. ROBERT J. JEX Robert John Jex, 84, Spanish Fork, died in the Central Utah Convalescent Center in Orem on July 14 of causes incident to age. GEORGE D. SOUTHAM George Dee Southam, 66, Salt Lake City died July 15. His daughter, Mrs. R. Neil (Irene) Billings, lives in Orem. DR. HAROLD AUSTIN Dr. Harold Austin, 64, Provo, died July 15 after a long illness. Dr. Austin was a prominent pediatrician pe-diatrician and obstetrician. His daughter, Mrs. R. Ralph (Linda-lie) (Linda-lie) Benson, Lives in Orem. ELLA C. CARTER Ella Norton Clinger Carter, 91, Provo, died July 19 of causes incident to age. Her brother, Alfred Rowe Clinger, lives in Orem. MARY K. OLSEN Mary Nedra Kittelsen Olsen, 67, died July 17 of a heart attack. at-tack. She was the mother of Melvyn Ray Olsen of Orem. JULIAN E. HEPPLER Julian E. Heppler, Berkeley, Calif., died July 13. He was a brother of Naomi Trevenier of Orem. Mary Ann LeBaron Morrill, 89, of 575 North 800 West in Orem, died July 17, 1975 at the ' Utah Valley Hospital of causes incident in-cident to age. She was born in Santaquin on , May 22, 1886 to George W. and Mary Ann Openshaw LeBaron Sr. She married H, Elmer Morrill Mor-rill in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on October 10, 1907. He pre-ceeded pre-ceeded her in death. Mrs. Morrill attended school at Santaquin. After her marriage, mar-riage, they moved to Junction, Piute County, Utah. In 1910 they moved to Vernal, then in 1914 made another moved to Tridell, Uintah County where they lived until 1944 when they came to Orem. She was an active member mem-ber of the LDS Church with her membership residing in the Orem 9th Ward. She was a teacher in both the Relief Society and Primary. Pri-mary. She found great enjoyment in quilting and sewing. She is survived by four sons, E. Levon Morrill, V.Wayne Morrill, Mor-rill, both of American Fork; Alton L. Morrill and Oran L. Morrill, both of Orem; two daughters, Mrs. Linden (Wilda) Allred of Provo; Mrs. Tom (Irene) Wilkinson of Orem; 36 grandchildren; 114 great-grandchildren;one great-grandchildren;one brother, Raymond Ray-mond LeBaron of Maine; Four sisters, Mrs. Art (Edna) Hen-drickson, Hen-drickson, Mrs. Robert (Vera) Finch, both of Payson, Mrs. Olive Greenhalg and Mrs. Roger (Ella) Miles, both of Santaquin. Funeral services were held last Saturday, July 19. She was buried in the Orem City Cemtery. Orem Chapter DAV Hosts Installation The Orem Chapter and Auxiliary Auxi-liary of the Disabled American Veterans hosted their installation and dinner for the 1975-1976 officers on July 16, 1975. The affair was helt at Bill and Iva's Cafe, with sixty six members and guests present. A full course dinner was served, followed by a program presented by Elva Jean Thornton. State Dept. Mrs. Hurst was born March 2, 1896 in Graham County, Ariz, to George and Mary ElizabethStrat-ton ElizabethStrat-ton Skinner. On August, 9, 1926, she married Martin Henry Hurst in Seattle, Wash. He died in 19G2. She was active in the LDS Church and was a member of the Singing Mothers. Survivors include four sons and one daughter, George M. Hurst, Knobnoster, Tenn.; Arlen J. Hurst, Smyrna, Ga.; Leon Hurst, Provo; Leonard Hurst, Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. Vernon (Donna) Partridge, Orem; 16 grandchildren; one greatgrandchild, great-grandchild, and one sister, Mrs. Wilmerth Bentley, Salt Lake City.
