Goergian Apartments, Provo, died Saturday of a heart attack while working on construe tion. He was born Jan. 14, 1914, in Provo, the son of Reed and Mary Jeannette Wilkin Brown. He married Jevene Young and they were later divorced. He married Blanche Blackley and they were later separated. He received his education in the Provo City Schools and was a graduate of Lincoln HighSchool of Orem. He married and made his home in Provo and was env ployed as a carpenter most of his life. He lived in Provo until 1952 when he moved to Spring-ville Spring-ville when he married Blanche Blackley. After their separation, he moved back to Provo where he lived for the past 1 12 years. He lived in Orem until 2 weeks ago when he moved to Provo. He was employed by many contractors. Remington Arms, and during the construction of Geneva Steel by U.S. Steel Corp. For the past 13 years he worked for Jensen Brothers Construction company. He was an Elder in the LD3 Church. He was a veteran of World War II, where he was in the LSea Bees. His hobbies were fish ing, hunting and sports. Survivors include three daugh ters, Mrs. Hartman (Batty Kay) Daniels, Norwalk, Calif; Mrs, Harvey (Jeannette) Croft. Hen derson, Nev.; Mrs. Glen (Renee) Tunheim, El Segundo, Calif; 11 grandchildren; his mother, Mrs, Nette Brown of Provo; four brothers, Verl R. and Dee G Brown, Provo; Lyle G. Brown, Salt Lake City; Nolan R. Brown, Sigard, one sister, Mrs. Wil liam E (May) Issaacson, Spring ville. Funeral services were held Wednesday 11a.m. Interment was in the Provo City Cemetery FREE FILM ATSCERA A special featured of the week' ly program sponsored by the Orem City Library this Thurs day May 12 will include a talk by Earl Johnson of the County Safety Department who will speak on a Refresher Course in Safety Driving. He was born March 30, 1912,! in Meeker Colo., the son of Amos: Post and Irene Banta Kenney.; -He married Ruth Wilkins onSept. 7, 1934 in Vernal Mr. Kenney had been a dieseK electric operator for Utah Power"; and Light Company since 1948.-: He formerly lived in Coerd Alene, Ida., and in Vernal. He had lived in Provo since 1961.! He attended schools in Meeker:" and Rangely, Colo, and was a 1932 graduate of Meeker High School, where he served as senior class" president. (Bud) Karns, 49, who " died there of a heart attack May ' 1. Mr. Karns was a resident of-' Orem for about eight years and ' operated a service station in Pro--1 vo. He was born Oct. 6, 1916 ia' Mound City, Mo. He married Aftori Mills. He was a member of the -LDS Church. 1 Survivors include his wife and ' two sons, Glenard and Neldon- ' Darns, all of Colorado Springs;- his mother, Mrs. Mary Karns,1 Mound City; One sister, Mrs.: Lillian Siekmann, Los Angeles; three grandchildren. - Those going from this area to : the funeral included Mr. and' Mrs. Murray RawsoOrem.Mr.-and RawsoOrem.Mr.-and Mrs. Glen Williams, American Amer-ican Fork; Mr. and Mrs. D.D. The original place for the meeting which was Memorial Park was changed due to the weather. Members are requested to bring with them some small white-elephant gift to be used for game prizes.
