Perhaps a color combination combi-nation of black and scarlet ? Or a dark and light shade . of the same color? The stole that is illustrated today is . a checkerboard pattern, which, when finished, measures meas-ures 17 x G3 inches-a very generous size. Using basic knit and purl stitches, the switching of yarn gives it its effect, and also makes knitting it a very interest ing and rapid project.
