Patricia Close Exchanges Vows With Paul Gourdin In Temple Rites In nuptial rites in the Salt charge Lake Temple W e d n esdav bears evening ,Miss Patricia Close became the bride of Paul F. Gourdin. The birde is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne C. Close of Orem. She is currently a member of the Orem High School, and plans to finish school next year. Mr. Gourdin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gourdin of Orem. He has served on a mission to Argentina, and will be a senior at the BYU next year, majoring in languages. '. The reception was held at the Orem Reception Centre Wednesday, June 10, 1964. The bride wore a full length gown of satin and lace. The long sleeves were accented by tiny satin buttons at the wrist. The satin top was accented by a lace v-shaped insert at the waist. The skirt of the gown was fully lace, with full-length full-length satin train flowing from the waist. The veil was self-designed and of finger tip length. It was crowned by a pill box decorated in orange blossoms, taken from her mother's veil. .The bouquet was fashioned of cymbidums with pink roses and stephano-tis. stephano-tis. The attendants were: Ora Gourdin, maid of honor, Francine Walters, Maxine Walters, and Linda Kay Christensen. Their gowns were fashioned of pink satin brocade bro-cade trimmed in white satin, accented with white patent leather shoes. They each eld a bouquet of white carnations with an orchid-colored ribbon in the shape of a crescent. Jr. Bridesmaids were Hope Close, and Mary Ann Gourdin. Vern Rowley served as best man, David Close and J. D. Gordon as ushers.
