Show Orem-Geneva Times Thursday, May 9, 1963 Mother of Two Orem Women Dies in Logan Mrs. Ethel Rich Morgan, 79, Xogan, mother of two local residents, died Monday of a heart ailment. She is the mother mo-ther of Mrs. Alma P. (Clea) Burton and Mrs. Lyman F. (Arlene) Smart, both of Orem! Born March 4, 1884, at St. Charles, Idaho, she was the daughter of Hyrum Smith and Elizabeth Stock Rich. She marrier John S. Morgan Oct. 10, 1906 in the Salt Lake Temple. Mrs. Morgan was graduated from the Brigham Young Academy and taught school at Star Valley, Wyo., and St. Charles, Idaho prior to her marriage. Always active in the LDS church, she served as president in YWMIA and Relief Re-lief Society as well as teacher in all the organizations of the church. She did considerable temple work. She is survived by her husband hus-band and six living children. Mrs. Dee G. (Thelma) Brown and Lenore Morgan preceded her in death. Her living children are Mrs. G. Y. 1, N. Y. or your nearest Catholic Church. Sister of 'Times' Publisher Dies In California Margery Ellen Sumner Harris, Har-ris, 75, Victorville, Calif., died Sunday at her home of natural causes. She was a sister of Orem-Geneva Times publisher H. B. Sumner. She was born March 22, 1888 in Provo a daughter of Thomas Thom-as and Elizabeth Clayton Sum-ner. Sum-ner. She received her education educa-tion in the Provo City schools. She worked as a telephone operator op-erator in Provo for many years. She married Wilford L. Harris on May 18, 1914, in Provo. Pro-vo. After her marriage they lived in Provo and then moved mov-ed to Halley, Ida. and later to .Beverly Hills, Calif in 1923. She has lived in Victorville for the past 22 years. She is a member of the LDS Church. Survivors are her husbamd of Victorville and one daugh ter, Mrs. Allen (Ruth) Camp- oeu, Apple Valley, Calif.; one brother and four sisters. Har old B.
