VANDALISM REPORTED AT UNOCCUPIED HOUSE Blain Larsen, Salem, reported report-ed to Orem City police this week that vandals had entered enter-ed an unoccupied house belonging be-longing to him at 745 N. 600 W. in Orem. Taylor and Grant L. Winegar, have beenln the process of having diseased and neglected - fruit trees in the Utah County Area eradicated. Due to drouth and unfavorable unfav-orable (production seasons, there has been continued neglect neg-lect of trees throughout the area. According to Article 1, Section 4, Chapter 3, of the Utah Code Annotated 1955; all fruit trees in the area must be properly cared for and sprayed to contro disease and Insect pests, and trees or orchards or-chards which are not of econ omical value, or which cannot be cared for, must be eradicated eradicat-ed in order to protect the Horticultural Hor-ticultural Industry of the County. Catharine Motes Injured at School Catharine Motes, 8, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. A. D. Motes of Orem is back in school after af-ter suffering a severe cut on her land last week when she cut it cn a glass door at the Westmore school. She had deep lacerations on three fingers and on the palm of her hand. She was taken to Utah Valley Hospital for surgery. Farley, 124 S. State, Orem, recently was graduated from the 82nd Airborne Division Di-vision Jump School at Fort Bragg, N. C. Farley received his paratrooper wings after completing three weeks of intensive in-tensive ground and ariel training which included five parachute Jumps. The 18-yearr old soldier entered the Army in June 1961 and completed basic training at Fort Ord, Calif. He was graduated from Orem High School in 1961. ; WILLIAM K.
