Miss Peterson is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard A. Peterson, Pe-terson, Orem, and Mr. Stevens is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Stevens, of Lovell Wyoming. IV iss Peterson is a graduate of Orem High School and LDS Seminary. She was a member of the Tigerettes and served as secretary of the studentbody. She attended BYU and is at present working in Provo. Mr. Stevens is a student at BYU, where he is majoring in education. He served an LDS mission in the Central States and was1 active in sports in high school. t mm i I ' j- JUNE BRIDE - Announcement is made of the engagement engage-ment and forthcoming marriage of Mary Ellen Farns-worth Farns-worth to Boyd B. Bushman. Parents of the bride-elect are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Farnsworth of Orem, and Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Bushman of Sho Low, Ariz., are parents par-ents of the prospective bride-groom. The couple will be married June 8 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They will be honored at a wedding reception at the Orem 13th Ward on June 9. Miss Farnsworth is a graduate of the Orem High School and LDS Seminary. While in high school she was a member of the Tigerette Pep Club; G. A. A. and a member of the DeMilo marching group. She is a junior at Brigham Young University majoring in elementary Education. Mr. Bushman is a junior at BYU majoring in Physics and chemistry. He completed an LDS Northern Mexican Mission. Peterson, became be-came the bride, April 14, of Joe Kader, son of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Kader. The ceremony was held at the home of the bride's parents and rites were read by Bishop Rulon Petty. An open house followed immediately. The new Mrs. Kader is a graduate of Orem LDS Seminary and she will graduate from Orem High School this spring. Mr. Kader is a graduate of Orem High School and will leave in the near future for college in Colorado. Following the bride's graduation she will join him there. Lai Cos Elects New President Mrs. Herbert (Meredith) Stratton was elec'ed president of the Lai Cos Club at the April meeting that was held at the home of Mrs. Mark Hoover. Other officers elected were Mrs. Eldon Aston, vice president; Mrs. Richard Allen, secretary; Mrs. Lowell Christensen, Chris-tensen, corresponding secretary; sec-retary; and Mrs. Hollis Scott, reporter. Prior to the elections Mrs. Hoover demonstrated cake decorating de-corating showing unusual forms for cakes using different type baking tins. The center of attraction was a full size Raggedy Ann cake doll made with cut lengths of jelly roll and dressed with soft powder sugar Icing.
