In the singles BolNorton played Art Dowdle Tuenday afternoon for the Hegion Championship and Norton finally downed 'his opponent op-ponent to cop the championship champion-ship laurels. v ; In the doubles, Kirby Mc-Master Mc-Master and Mel Bennet downed down-ed John Mikklesen and Jerry Rowley Tuesday to gain the doubles crown. Heavy winds last Friday caused the postponement post-ponement of the matches until un-til this week...- The region winners are now scheduled to participate in the state tennis tournament meet which is to be held in Salt Lake, Saturday. This meet will bear close watching as McMast-ers McMast-ers and Bennett played their way to take the state doubles championship last year and are better than even odds to repeat re-peat again Saturday. Last week the Tigers battled to 3-3 tie with Highland, who setback of the season a few 1 1:1 J. setback of te season a few weeks previous.
