Sumner, publisher of the Orem-Geneva Times, has announced an-nounced the appointment of Miss Teddy Rohbock to the "Times" staff. She will report news of Lincoln High School activities. Secretary of the studentbody and accompanist for the a cap-, ptlla choir. Miss Rohbock is a senior at the high school. She has been chosen as the friendliest girl of her class during Hi Week for the past two years. Orem Business and Professional Wo- Friendliest Named At LHS Hi Week Climaxing a week of friendly smiles and greetings, Lincoln Senior High School members chose the friendliest boy and girt of each class at the Hi Week dance Sept. 16. Announced as Hi ween s inena-liest inena-liest were Teddy Rohbock and Ralph Mott, 12th grade; Marilyn Bills and Clifford Craig, 11th grade; and Carolette Zobell anf Tom Robins, sophomores. Wes Barry was voted as the friendli est teacher. Gifts were presented to each. An . assembly was presented during Hi Week by Studentbody officers Ralph Mott, Ted Harward, Teddy Rohbock, Ann Schumann and Lynn Poulson. Program numbers num-bers included a vocal solo by .Gary Keetch, dance by the Spot- lighters Sandra Pugh, Lois Rich ards, Fae Nielsen, Beverly Boun-ous, Boun-ous, Anne Egbert and Shirley Stubben. The new junior and senior class leaders were introduced intro-duced and song leaders Sandra Merril, Beverly Bounous, Sharon Lupus, Margie Palmer and Anne Egbert Introduced the verse to the school song. (Photo eourteir Loa Angelas Tlata-Mlnor) Plans Announced for LHS Homecoming Initial plans for the Lincoln High School Homecoming have been annunced, with the program scheduled for Oct. 20. An assembly, assem-bly, under the direction of Teddy Rohbock will be presented to the public at 11:30 a.m. in the Scera Theatre. The Homecoming Queen and her attendants will be announced an-nounced at the assembly which will display talent from the 1955 graduates. At 2 pjn. a football game will be played between the Lincoln High School Tigers and the Provo High School Bulldogs. There will be an admission charge ot ou cents for the generalpublic and 35 cents for visiting students with activity cards. Topping off the day's events will be a Homecoming dance at 8:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. Sapere Aude Slates i Installation Rites The first meeting of the Girls Chapter of the Lincoln High School Sapere Aude was held at Anne Egbert's home recenetly. New officers were introduced at the meeting. They are Sandra Pugh, president; Ranae Howard, vice president; Anne Egbert, sec retary; Glenda Burr, reporter; and Maunne Giest, historian. Installation ceremonies will be held at the president's home Wednesday Wed-nesday evening, Sept. 28, at 8 p.m. The girls will wear formals and Mrs. Alice Jensen, their advisor, ad-visor, will be present. A professor 'from the Brigham Young Univer sity will be the main speaker. The girls discussed the possibility possibi-lity of having a Sapere Aude dance in February. Initials and the graduating year are in gold letters on a white enamel background surrounding a blue Start ire stone. The crest consists of a tiger head, a gold "L in old English script, with the school name written underneath. Hobo Party Enjoyed By LiHS Girls Group Girls of the Lincoln Senior High School enjoyed a Hobo Party sponsored by the Girls Organization Or-ganization Wednesday night at the Scera Theatre grounds. They all brought their lunches in a hobo ack and were entertained by local and Provo talent. Officers of the organization, who planned the event, are Lois Richards, president; Beverly Merrill, Mer-rill, vice president; Mary Stubben, Stub-ben, corresponding secretary; Anna An-na Mae Tobler, recording secretary; secre-tary; Joycelyn Ralphs, historian; and Merilynne Rich, program chairman.
