The regulation is issued under provisions of the federal marketing market-ing order which applies to Utah peaches of all varieties, and will be effective through October 16. John W. Gannaway, Fruit and Vegetable Branch representative in Denver for the USDA's Production Pro-duction and Marketing Administration, Adminis-tration, said shipments will be restricted to peaches which grade at least U. S. No. 1 and are of a size not smaller than 2 inches in diameter. A tolerance of not over 10 percent under size in any Hobby Show to Attract State Fair Viewers A new, revised Hobby ' Show Department is in store for Fair Viewers and exhibitors at the 1953 Utah State Fair, September 12 to 20. Last year's hobby exhibits attracted at-tracted more viewers than any other fair event with exhibitors virtually tripled over the previous year. The general hobby show is open to all residents of Utah who possess a hobby, whether it be collecting one legged turtles or South African Zebras. Stamp collecting, model building, coin collecting and etc. will all be sep arated into, individual depart ments with the usual list of ribbons rib-bons and medals being awarded. The Ceramics Division, open to non-professionals only, will maintain its own separate display unit. This event met such a popular response last year it has been even more enlarged for the 1953 showing. The Mineral division, always popular in Utah due to the state's great accomplishments in the mining industry, will be open to collectors of all types of mineral specimens. With the field limited limit-ed to amateurs an outstanding list of entries is expected. The Photoaraphy division, with both a professional and amateur d.artment will occupy the entire second floor of the - Industrial Arts building. -Several contests for photos taken during the fair, plus premium awards and ribbons are all on tao for entrants.
