APRIL 23, 1083 40 Orem Residents Complete CD First Aid Courses Torval Nelson, Civil Defense director for Orem, announced this week that 40 Orem residents have completed first aid training courses in the current CD program. pro-gram. Other courses are being planned for the near future. The pogram is designed to train at least one person in each home for emergency work in first aid. The 40 who completed the course this week Include one group under the direction of Mrs. D. Orlo Allen., women' Pn director; and two groups under xne direction of Mr. Nelson. Mrs. Zona Hansen. Orlo Al- VACATTON IN MEXICO Mr. and Mrs. Jos. B Millet, Jeanette and Mrs. Estella Duffin returned last week-end from a trip through Colorado, New Mex ico, Texas, Old Mexico and Ar izona. ': '' ' .. ' In Dallas, Texas they visited with Mrs. Duffin's son, Sidney A. Duffin and family and Kath-ern Kath-ern Downs, and were entertain ed by the Wright family. Sidney and family accompanied them to Old Mexico. leaving them at Matamoros in Old Mexico. During the trip they visited many places of interest such as Carlsbad Caverns, the painted desert and the petrified forest. len. Taking a standard course un der Mr. Nelson have been the Geneva ward Explorer Scouts including Tom Moon, Myies Judd, Jan Peterson; Rex Adams, Arthur North, Dee Carson, Iceland Ice-land Davis, Evan Burr, Wayne Shephard, Evan Crosby and leaders W.
