HAIR Hi Folks Just reeeived a wondeful letter from my nephew. Max Hair, who is spending the winter in Wicken- ourg, Arizona. I suppose few letters let-ters I have received in my lifetime life-time have thrilled me so much. While in Wickenburg this winder win-der I went to their Sunday school and found that old fashioned humbleness that prevailed when first I came into the Grand View Ward and went to Sunday school in the one room school house that was later torn down to build this modernistic new elementary school sch-ool that is such a credit to our community. What thrilled me about Max's letter he has been chosen as the architect to design Wicken-burg's Wicken-burg's new LDS chapel. Knowing his art and his sincerity, I can bet the new Wickenburg, Ariz. house of the Lord will be an inspiration. in-spiration. I remember when we built the little red church house of the Grand View wards and 1 know we as a people were inspir ed; or where did a small group of people .who didn't have more than the necessities of life find time and money to build such a lovely house of worship. Through the years the Grand View chapel has served more than one ward and many strangers have found their way to its door. So it will be with the Wickenburg, Ariz, chapel. Without these, houses of the Lord we would fail our children, fail to give them a spiritual education ed-ucation as well as giving a person a chance to embrace the gospel. Today I am glad for Max . . . glad that Bob Livingood can see the soul of a great person in that of the young designer. Brother Livingood is the branch president of that little group of LDS people who gather in the basement of the school house for their meet ings. I enjoyed their meetings so much while there. 7 hope to return re-turn soon and e able to rork with the new goup of LDS people who are so sincere. But my heart will be always in the Grand View chapel. My one . wish is that throughout the world there will be many more little red church houses built by people whose heart and soul is in them as were the people's back in those far away times when we built our church house. Good luck to the Wickenburg group. Whatever be the design, modernistic or ancles or a little red church house may it accomplish the things that are designed for a meeting place of those good and sincere Wickenburg, Wicken-burg, Arizona LDS people.
