Mrs. Leon M- Hebertson. the former Lois Mayree Harrison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hastings Has-tings Harrison of Denver. The couple were married Monday evening at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Hebertson, and are honeymooning in California. Michael Weeks and Martin Weeks have been visiting at the Wilford Larsen home while their parents are back east. Mrs. Larsen and the boys left Wednesday Wed-nesday for a visit in San Juan. Mr. and Mrs. David Mac-kay Mac-kay are the parents of a baby girl born Saturday, July 14th. Mrs. Mackay (Loa) is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Gurr. David is the son of Mrs. Mary Mackay. He is stationed in New York at the present time with the army. Loa will go to New York in August to be w:th her husband. Mr. and Mrs. William R. McClellan of Mesa, Arizona, visited last week at the C. I. Moon home. Mr. McClellan is Mrs. Moon's brother. " Mrs. Ervin Sparks entertained enter-tained a group of children Saturday Sat-urday in honor of her daughter, Gladys, who was celebrating her birthday. Games and refresh ments were enjoyed by 15 guests and the group attended the picture pict-ure show. Mrs. Mary Edwards entertained enter-tained a group of children Sunday Sun-day in honor of her daughter, Judy, who was celebrating her birthday. Games were played and refreshments served to 10 friends. Mrs. Alma Banks and chil dren were recent visitors at the home of Mrs. Banks' mother in Lemington. Salt Lake City Wedding- Reception Honors Hebertson Newlyweds A pretty wedding ceremony at the home of the bridegroom's parents on Monday evening sol emnized the marriage of Lois Mayree Harrison and Leon M. Hebertson. The ceremony was performed by T. C. Hebertson, father of the groom, and was witnessed by other family members. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hastings Harrison of Denver, former residents of Provo. She is a nurse at the Salt Lake County hospital. Her hus band graduated from the BYU this spring and will enter the University of Utah medical school this fall. The newlyweds were honored following their marriage at a reception in the Vineyard ward hall, which was decorated with lighted tapers and arrangements of gladioli. Attending the bride were Mrs. Ivor Stone, matron of honor, and Roma Rasmussen, Doreene Young and Mrs. Bob Burton, bridesmaids. Wayne Hebertson was best man and ushers were Ivor Stone, William Wells and Val Hebertson. The bride's gown was fashioned fash-ioned of white silk organdy, with form-fitting bodice arid shirred sleeves. A waist length Mr. and Mrs. Hans Soren-son Soren-son visited over the weekend at the Verne Thurber home. Mrs. Sorenson is the former Betty Foster. Helen Foster returned with them after a visit with them in Orderville. s ii a n o u veil of nylon net fell from a Juliet cap of lace. She wore a cluster of orange blossoms which was worn by her grandmother 69 years ago. She carried a white satin bible. Resting on the bible was a lovely orchid with streamers of baby orchids. The bride's attendants wore formals of orchid organdy over pale green taffeta. They carried bouquets of rose buds and steph anotis with green satin streamers. stream-ers. Mrs. Harrison wore a black and white formal and Mrs. Hebertson Heb-ertson chose turquoise. Each mother wore a corsage of white roses. Curtis Harrison acted as mas ter of ceremonies for the program pro-gram which included cello selections sel-ections by Marie Lyman and vocal solos by Colleen Lowe. Mrs, Taylor Allen favored with organ selections during the receiving. re-ceiving. Presiding in the gift room were Mrs. Curtis Harrison, Mrs. Forest Stilman and Mrs. Ralph Worlton. Mrs. Merrill Olsen was in charge of the guest book. The newlyweds left following the reception for a honeymoon in Yosemite Park. The Trailbuilders of Sharon and Beverly wards are sponsoring sponsor-ing a Fun-da-lay on July 20 at the Geneva Resort. Parents are invited. Sunday School was conducted by Clark Collings. Karen Mem-mott Mem-mott gave the sacrament gem and talks were given by Virginia Vir-ginia Wilkinson and Ramona Stolworthy. Bishop W. M. Vernon was m charge of sacrament services. Rosalie Josie gave the teen-age talk. Speakers were Joel Parry of the high council, James Bonner Bon-ner nd W, C. Herron of the stake missionary committee. Music Mu-sic was furnished by Rosa Mae Gurr who sang a vocal solo. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Spoha of Salt Lake City were weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. Q. Elder.
