GRAND VIEW Marilyn Young 048 J4 Grandview held its annual ward reunion last week with approximately ap-proximately 400 people in at- 1 tendance- Rerfeshments were I served in the form of a cold I plate after which a program was j held. The progiam was introd uced by Bishop A. Dean Buck-; Buck-; nor, with the previous bishop-I bishop-I rics being honored. A reading ; was given by Esther Asay, and 1 a song was presented by a quar tct comprising Marvel Harward, Eldon Taylor, Verlin Clegg and Claire Tracy. Talks were given by the following representing each previous bishopric: Mark Kartchner, John Kuhni, Roy Taylor and Rodney Kimball. A reading was then given by Myrtle Myr-tle Burr, folowed by an instrumental instru-mental duet by Spencer Dean and Richard Etough. They were accompanied by Mrs. Inez Tracy. Dancing folowed the pro gram. A separate ward reunion was held for the Primary children last Thursday, with about 175 children attending. A special program was presented under the direction of Verl Johnson and Lillian Steer. The program was presentd in story form with Spencer Dean playing the toll collector at a bridge and the other performers giving their part of the program as payment to cross. A dance was given by Roberta Madsen, and a song by the Larks including Dixie Gordon, Gor-don, Julane Steer, Deane Morgan Mor-gan and Carol Ann Swapp. A selection was whistled by Elton Sumner a comedy act present ed by Max Williams and a song by Bruce Wentz- Other performers perform-ers were guest of Hill Crest Dodge and Bernice Kirkwood. The luncheon was served by the Seagull class under the direction direct-ion of Mrs. Laurel Gibson. A special "thank you" is ex pressed by Mrs. Ina Buckner in of the Primary to all who contributed con-tributed during the penny drive. Utah Symphony To Feature Dixon at Piano Fredric Dixon, well-knqwn and popular American pianist, will be guest soloist with the Utah Symphony on the next to last concert of the season, Saturday, Sat-urday, March 11, according to Conductor Maurice Abravanel. - Mr. Dixon will play "Variations "Variat-ions Symphonique" by Cesar Franck with the Utah Symphony.
