(0vJl 7 Clearfield Man Opens Tire Repair Shop in Orem Open for business on Tues day will be the shop of the O. K. Rubber Welders at their new building on the Lincoln comer directly across State street from the Spencer School. Operator of the new business will be Lynn Wood, former Clearfield resident, who has purchased the old Higgins home near the Spencer school and who is establishing residence resi-dence here with his wife nd five children. Mr. Wood has been active in the tire and tire repair business for the past three years and has been associated with the O. K. Rubber Welders in Salt Lake and Clearfield. He will do general tire repairing, recapping, recapp-ing, will handle the Goodyear line of tires and tubes and will repair tractor and truck tires. Montel Graff spent Sunday with the Missionary group from the BYU. They held meetings in Eureka and other towns in that area. Acel Nielson left last week for Salmon, Idaho where he will be employed. Mar 28. has been set as the day for the cornersone laying ceremony for the new Vinevard ward chaoel. Bishop Taylor Allen will be In charge of the activities which will begin be-gin at 11 a.m- Construction of the $110,000 chapel was started in April. A sealed copper box win be placed in the cornerstone and will contian the names of per. sons who have contributed to the building fund, historical data, pictures, personal messages and other interesting information. The box will be sealed at 1 p-m and placed in the cornerstone. The Relief Society will con duct a cake and pie sale and re freshments will be sold by the MIA. Proceeds will go to the building fund. Stewart was named first place winner in the recently re-cently completed photo contest of the Orem-Geneva Photo Center, Cen-ter, it as announced Wednesday by William Duffin, manager of the photo center. Second place winner was Mrs. Fred Lystrup, with Mrs. Rose Martinez winning winn-ing third place. The prize winning photos will be exhibited at the photo center. Winners may claim their prizes at the center. First prize was a camera; second was a quantity of film; and third was a corsage. Mr. and Mrs. John C.
