The acquisition by Continental Bus System of passenger traffic operations of Rio Grande Motor Way was announc-ed announc-ed recently in the press. Rio Grande Motor Way will continue to operate motor freight service as in the past. Rio Grande Trailways, however, how-ever, now becomes the Rocky Mountain Division, Continental Continent-al Bus System. It means that the name of Continental, already al-ready a familiar name in bus transportation over more than 25,000 miles of routes throughout Western United States, will now represent the same high standard of bus service throughout Colorado and Utah, that hasi been provided pro-vided in the past under the name of Rio Grande. Continental is proud of the opportunity to expand its far-flung far-flung service through Colorado and Utah to connect Salt Lake City with another Continental division, Continental Western Lines. As elsewhere over the Continental system, it will be the policy of the company in the new Rocky Mountain Division to render service to the public in such . a manner to insure the confidence and approval of our passengers. As evidence of our plans to further increase the standard of service in this area, Continental's Rocky Mountain Division Div-ision has already been assigned new bus equipment valued at more than $230,000. Delivery of these new buses will begin be-gin about November 15 and will be placed 4n operation immediately.
