Whenever lome-one lome-one got a free day, or a little extra time, they'd come over and help ont with paint and brash. And Cy, to show bis appreciation, apprecia-tion, held a big "barn warming" Saturday for all the folks who'd helped him (but not barring those who couldn't). Ma Hartman supplied sup-plied sandwiches, and Cy rolled ont a mellow keg of beer. You'd never think of a barn as "homelike." But with those lanterns hanging from the rafters; makeshift make-shift tables spread heavy with food; and Ed Carey's fiddle playing play-ing while the folks enjoyed their beer Cys barn was sure a mighty hospitable-looking plaeel From where I sit, it's Jnst about as appropriate to have a barn warming as a housewarming . . . if only because it's another chance to get neighbors together In a spirit of cood fellowship. It's absurd to think all in-terst in-terst in the opposite sex stops at the alter. Mariage doesn't make a person allergic to the association of the opposite sex. It's a general opinion that men are more philandering than women, wo-men, but don't kid yourself. Just look about you. There's the type of female that isn't happy with one nice husband. She is a nibbler of other Gal's men it starts in the cradle and ends at the grave. She is not to be confused with the decent friendly, above-board type of woman. It is easy to put them in their own catagory. We have men of this type too. It is generally known that EGO is at the root of this kind of behavior lack of it, or too much. In most cases it's not the third party that breaks up a home. Jealous wives and husbands hus-bands fail to realize that when either wants to cheat, it is too late for jealousy. It's the dp sire to cheat that is disloyalty, and what follows is of little consequence. You can't have both ways; if your partner is happy, why lock him in? If he isn't, what's the use? It's cheap and humiliating to believe that the association of the sexes can have only one rjurpose. So don't be old fashioned and divorce your husband if he comes home with various brands of lipstick smeared over the stubble For husbands only: If your wife's best man friend appears with that certain color lipstick, remember other gals wear that brand, too. t. i MiBMiiiiw-sTTrrrrnr i tui(iiu!BwTOam M - 1 Life has no blessing like a prudent friend. : Euripides iiiiiiitiiiiiiiiiiMiiiiniiiiiiiiiiiitiMiitiiiinitiitiiiiDiiiHtiiiitiiiiiiittiiiiitiiiim ( HEDQUIST DRUG I NO'S 1 & 2 1 Your Prescription Pharmacists For Over 50 Years No. 1 Ino.2. - 10 West Center! 104 West Center!
