Fowlke was elected president of the flower garden club at a meeting held Tuesday evening at Sharon stak seminary building with 40 percent Mrs. Luzon Crosby was named nam-ed vice president, Mrs. Ora J. Healy, secretary and treasurer. W. M. Keller, president of the state association of garden clubs was present and introduced introduc-ed Fred Augszerger, manager of Evans Floral in Salt Lake City and former president of the garden clubs, who offered a $10.00 orchid at the next meeting of the club, if 75 are in attendance. The corsage will be given by drawing of mem bers of the club. M. W. Wallace of BYU and publicity manager of the Tlnv panogos Garden Club was also present and offered a choice Iris root to the person whose name for the Orem Club is ac cepted by the group. Officers of the club are extending ex-tending an invitation to interested inter-ested flower lovers ot Orem-Sharon Orem-Sharon community to think of an appropriate name for the club, and be present at the uext meeting,, which is scheduled for Thursday, July 25 at 8 p.m. at the seminary. Men of the community com-munity are especially urged to join the group. A constitution and by laws will be drawn up before the next meeting. Cleg: nr Dies at Hospital Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Friday at 1 p.m. in Grand View ward chapel for Mary Malinda Ma-linda Moulton Clegg, wife of William F. Clegg, who passed away Tuesday at Utah Valley hospital following a lingering illness. Bishop Rodney Kimball will be in charge of the service. The body may be viewed at the family home in Grand View from 10 a.m. until time for the service. Interment will be at Frovo burial park under the direction di-rection ot Quist Mortuary. Mrs. Clegg was born m Heb-er Heb-er City, July 5, 1885, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Giles Moulton. She was a diligent dili-gent Latter Day Saint church worker in both Heber City and Orem, filling many positions In the auxiliary organizations. The Clegg's were married in the Salt Lake temple, May 13, 1913, and shortly after their marriage moved to Vineyayd and later to Grana view. Mrs. Clegg is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Murl Ann Ctar-ley, Ctar-ley, Frovo; Mrs. Velda Logan, Edgemont; Mrs. Fern Thomas, Orem; two sons, Verlin M. and Keith L. of Orem; nine grandchildren; grand-children; also the following brothers and sisters: John W. Moulton, Chase Moulton, Chas. H. Moulton, Mrs. Van John Stone, Mrs. Lyle Pruette, all of Salt Lake City; Francis Moulton. Moul-ton. Restaurants belonging to cap-itolists cap-itolists can secure bread, butter, and meat in abundance, while little children in the home go hungry. A woman may degrade de-grade herself, and ape all the low standards of civilization, and still be accepted in church or the best society, even be called a "Lady" . . . these and many more shocking conditions are ruling a world from the hell of war. "It's Time For Prayer," for no mere person could think through the tangled web of humanity hu-manity suffering from greed, selfishness and confusion. "WHAT WE NEED IS MORE FAITH" What we need is more faith in our Heavenly Father and a greater willingness to seek His divine guidance through the; medium of "Prayer." j "Prayer" is a rod that bars the way between uie numan soul and sin.
