Hello Folks, we are not ail two distinct personalities as Dr. Jekyl and Mr- Hyde, yet we do all, more or less, live a double life. Seme of us through our work or domestic do-mestic circumstances are forced to be, or pretend to be, something some-thing we are not. In many of the professions a double life is essential. The ac tor or actress fighting hard for fame has to be well dressed, must be seen at the best restaur-ants restaur-ants and smart places where the important people gather. For the sake of a career they must pretend to like it even if they prefer the' quiet of -their own fireside. The lawyer, rising to address the court must have an impressive air, a forcefulness which in real life he does not ssess. He may be playing a part which is entirely foreign to his nature. What is your boss like? Prob ably a big shot to you. You take his dictation yet around home he takes the dictation from the Mrs. "' ' v - " i i VI If we pay a social call we are not the same as we would be at home.
