An exchange says that if all sprintr chickeus were as teudcr as the feel ings of some people concerning what is said in the newspapers, there would be less fault found with the cook and less trouble in the alimentary canal. A newspaper's duty is to make a record of tho news. If you don't like the record, don't make that kind of news. It is not the ru-wspaper that makes the news, it is the bad act that disgraces sullies the name, not the publication. A man of bail behavior makes a great roar If a newspaper exposes ex-poses some of his work, because the ban man would have himself seem what he is not. Truth is not tender with hypocrites. The wonderfully low rating of many who'volunteered as recruits and were rejected is by medical men attributed to cigarette smoking. If the boys want to make sound men and strong healthy recruits, they must give up the cigarette habit. Commomcealth. How to Look Good. Goods looks are really more than skin deep, depending entirely on a healthy condition of all the vital organs. If the liver is inactive, you have a bilious look; if your stomach is disordered, you have a dyspeptic look: if your kidneys are affected, you have a pinched look. Secure good health, and you will surely have good looks. "Electric Bitters" is a good Alterative Alter-ative and Tonic.
