James Simpson, the jovial miller at the Springville Roller Mill, took his annual bath Monday morning in a somewhat abrupt manner. As a reminder of how cold it was Monday night John Martin, the tailor, has a pair of very badly frozen ears. It is reported that John went over to Spanish Fork Monday night in com pany with some of the boys to see the elephant, and while coming home early Tuesday morning in a some what how-came-yon-socoudition froze. his ears. We was brought in town by some of the boys and the doctor was called iu to attend to John's injuries, which proved to be quite serious. Clarence Rogers, better knon as "Dusty", was brought before Justice .1. S. Boyer, Tuesday, on the charge of incorrigibility, sworn out by his his mother at the request .of the school hoard, on account of being un manageable at school.
