'Loosey Moosey,' by artist Brent Brimhall, will be among the 22 life-sized moose sculptures up for auction and on display on Heber Avenue from Dec. 26-29. 26-29. The Park City Council recently approved a license for the 'Moose on the Loose' fundraiser, which will require that Heber Avenue between Park Avenue and Main Street be closed to traffic from noon on Dec. 26 until noon on Dec. 29. The auction's proceeds pro-ceeds will benefit the Park City Performing Arts Foundation, the Kimball Art Center and the Egyptian Theatre. GRAYSON WESTPARK RECORD POLICE Man arrested on drug charges after officers see him in drive-thru The Park City Police Department arrested a man on drug charges after seeing a vehicle in a drive-thru overnight on Wednesday, Dec. 10. According to police, a 41-year-old Heber man was arrested on charges of cocaine and marijuana possession, driving under the influence influ-ence of alcohol or drugs and possession posses-sion of drug paraphernalia. Lt. Phil Kirk said an officer saw the vehicle in the drive-thru on the 1600 block of Bonanza Drive at about 1:10 a.m. and the officer contacted con-tacted the driver. The driver smelled like alcohol, failed a sobriety test and was arrested for drunken driving, driv-ing, Kirk said. He was then taken into custody. Other incidents reported to the Police Department last week included: On Sunday, Dec. 14 at 11:54 p.m., a police officer gave a motorist a warning for doing 'donuts' with a vehicle in the Racquet Club parking lot in Park Meadows. Police arrested a woman on a drunken-driving charge after a pursuit pur-suit on S.R. 224. According to the police, officers responded to a possible possi-ble drunken driver on the highway at 7:35 p.m. The driver refused to pull over and was in the wrong lane, police said. She eventually pulled over and was arrested, police said. At 9:41 a.m., a vehicle fire was reported on Royal Street. Police said the driver was taken to a local clinic. Police received a call from the 7900 block of Deer Valley Drive at 4:20 a.m., when a person reported that a woman walked out of a condominium con-dominium without clothes. The caller was unable to locate the woman. However, police were then called and told that the woman was in bed and was OK. Police arrested a motorist for driving under the influence of alcohol alco-hol or drugs on the 1000 block of Park Avenue at 12:58 a.m. On Saturday, Dec. 13 at 10:51 a.m., police received a complaint that a lighted ornament was taken from a residence on Ashley Avenue. Police said the ornament is valued at $850. Police received a report at 1:43 a.m. from the 200 block of Main Street that a man approached a person per-son in a vehicle and stopped him. He then blew flames in his face, police said. The stereo is valued at between $50 and $200, police said. On Monday, Dec. 8 at 10:29 p.m., police responded to Trailside Court, where a bomb was reportedly in a vehicle. When they arrived at the scene, though, investigating officers found a woman complaining of chest pains. Police say the woman was delusional. No bomb was found, police said.
