Top scares for PGST at Bogus Basin by Karen Finocchio PARK 'CITY SKI TEAM Park City Ski Team took home top accolades at the junior 4-6 Interroountain Championships hosted at Bogus Basin. Idaho last weekend. Twenty-six PCST athletes qualified for this unique event that brought together the top junior 4-6 competitors throughout through-out the lntermountain Division. Challenged by varying terrain and difficult courses, the athletes rose to the occasion and came through with top levels of performance. per-formance. Alexa Perkiel and Molly Cannon earned top results with Perkiel securing fifth in giant slalom and Cannon, a fourth in slalom. Aggressive skiing in giant slalom earned Maggi' Kraft a fourth for Junior 5s. Ryan Simons fired off a top-notch top-notch second run to lead the way in giant slalom finishing in sixth. Austin Blais and Barrett Dewald punched their way into the top-10 with strong second run perform ances. Marker' Anderson led the way for Junior 5 boys with 10th. The boys were faced with the toughest slalom course of the season. sea-son.
