Ski Courchevel and Les Trois Vallees in the French Savoie region with Park City's Courchevel Club, March 6-14. Park City's sister city, Courchevel, will once again host us as we explore the pistes of the reknowned Savoie region of the French Alps. Courchevel hosted many of the events in the Albertville Winter Olympics. This will be a perfect opportunity for Park City residents and business busi-ness people to meet and talk with Courchevel counterparts about being an Olympic venue. We also hope to have the opportunity to meet or ski with Jean Claude Killy. Courchevel has traditionally recognized rec-ognized Park City season's passes and Courchevel's season passes are recognized here. Cost of the trip is about $1800, or $1600 for season pass holders. Local seminar will focus on athletes On Monday, Nov. 16,1998, 7 p.m. at The Inn at Prospector Square, world-renowned research biochemist, bio-chemist, Dr. Mitra Ray will conduct a seminar on athletes, anti-aging and the future of medicine. Ray received her bachelor of science sci-ence degree from Cornell University, and her. Ph.D. from Stanford Medical School. She has done extensive exten-sive research with enzymes, and is credited with the discovery of an enzyme. She is an expert on nutrition and weight management, presenting lectures to medical students and providing pro-viding physicians and others with" current research on these topics. The National Institute of Health and the American Cancer Society have funded her research. She has been published in such prestigious journals as Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and the Journal of Cell Biology. She was also a recipient of the Young Investigator Award from the Federation of American Societies in Experimental Biology. Ray is currently touring between Europe and North America, lecturing lectur-ing on the latest research related to anti-aging, and recent advances in nutrition and weight management. Her seminar at the Inn at Prospector Square will focus on what you can do to slow down the aging process, and clarify the significant, differences between supplements tff - Dr. Mitra Ray that contain only isolated vitamin and minerals, as opposed to "whole food" supplements that contain thousands of nutrients and enzymes not found in regular supplements.
