"Luge is huge" at the Sports Park for the next two weeks as young sliders from across the country arrive in Utah to prepare for the U.S. Luge Association's National Junior Championships on Feb. 8. One group from Lake Placid has been in training for a week already and should have a good feel for the hew Utah track by the time the competition compe-tition rolls around in two weeks. Deer Valley Elite Team mogul skiers dominate Seniors Freestyle mogul skiers from Park City dominated the men's Senior Division of the Western States Championship last weekend week-end at Sun Valley, Idaho. Deer Valley Elite Freestyle Ski Team skier Dave Berry was the top senior on the Christmas Bowl course, beating out Far West Division hot shot Tony Basile of Squaw Valley, Calif.
