Lewis' famous children's story, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, as Park City Performances proudly presents its annual children's production. The mythical land of "Narnia" comes to life in this musical production pro-duction as four young children step into a fantastical world of danger, excitement and beauty. She chose Narnia because of its many levels of emotion, and for its many leading roles. She says the play gives the children a chance to explore many levels of drama from comedy to tragedy. The show features many Park City children kids including Rob Lyle, a senior at Park City High School, who is playing the part of Asian. Drake says Lyle has "the most gorgeous singing voice, and he's also a high-jumper, so we are using all of his abilities." The four children are played by Chase Flanders, 12, Carly Elman, 14, Jake Larsen, 14, and Natalie Bradshaw, 11. All four children cant say enough about the play, which they says gives them the opportunity oppor-tunity to imagine ibeyond their everyday lives. "It's like being transported to some place magical," says Flanders. "But it's still like real life where you are tempted by certain situations, and hopefully you will realize what's right." Elman agrees. "There is the struggle between good and bad, and you have to make choices. There are things pulling on you, and you have to figure out what's going on. But if you make the wrong choice you can turn back." "When you finally get on the right track, then eventually you will overcome anything bad," says Larsen. Bradshaw likens the story to the story of Jesus and the crucifixion. cruci-fixion.
