J J PCP hosts Park City Performances will present "An Evening of Comedy with David Steinberg," hosted by Robert Urich, at 7:30 p.m. on Jan 14, as a benefit for Park City Performances and the Save Our Stage Foundation. Ticket prices for this once-in-a-lifetime performances at the Egyptian Theatre in Park City are $75 and $60 and include an opportunity to ask questions of both Steinberg and Urich, as well as a reception at the Kimball Art Center after the performance. An alumnus of the popular Second City TV comedy show, Steinberg's career has included performance on Broadway and television, writing for such shows as The Smothers Brothers Show and The David Steinberg Show with Lily Tomlin, and regular reg-ular appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and Late Night with David Letterman. Since making his directing debut in 1980, Steinberg has worked non-stop as a director in movies and such award-winning TV shows as Golden Girls, Evening Shade, Designing Women and Seinfeld. Currently, he directs Mad About You. A recipient of numerous awards, Steinberg has been called "one of the most creative directors on television" by the New York Times. A long-time friend of Steinberg, Urich, who now lives in Park City, is probably best known for his roles in Spenser For Hire and Vega$, but has been in numerous mini-series and made-for-TV movies. He is also the host of National Geographic's Explorer and On Assignment series for TBS. Both he and his wife, actress Heather Menzies, have been active supporters sup-porters of Park City's Egyptian Theatre. Last winter, they starred in two sold-out benefit performances perfor-mances of Love Letters, directed Red Butte Red Butte Garden and Arboretum at the University of Utah will host &;three-part lecture lec-ture series entitled .-'Beauty in the Natural World: Biological Systems Explored." All three . presentations will be held in the second floor visitor lobby of the Red Butte Garden Visitor Center.
