Show iU Park Record -J Ririe-Woodbury joins with New York choreorgraphers On April 19 and 20, at 8 p.m. in the Capitol Theatre, the Ririe-Woodbury Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company's Hot Guests in Salt Lake City will bring the works of New York choreographers Phyllis Lamhut, Danial Shapiro and Joanie Smith, as well as Pilobolus co-founders Alison Chase and Moses Pendleton to the Salt Lake City stage. California body musiciandancer musi-ciandancer Keith Terry will also be featured. Phyllis Lamhut's Mirage Blanc, J which depicts an enchanting series of social situations gone awry, is set to eight contemporary piano, waltzes. Shapiro and Smith incorporate satire, slapstick and psychological insight in a work entitled To Have and To Hold. Award-winning New York choreographers, Alison Chase and Moses Pendleton have set on the company an intriguing work entitled en-titled Physalia. The tale of Physalia, the Portuguese man-of-war, uses watery images and ab surd yet graceful creatures that flow through and shape the dance. Keith Terry, body percussionist, is a highly energetic and entertaining enter-taining addition to an already hot showcase. Keith's solo performance perfor-mance is an explosive mixture of rhythm dance, live music, comedy, com-edy, social commentary, and Body Music. "He claps his hands, rubs his palms, finger-pops, stamps his feet, brushes his soles.. .pops his cheek, whomps is chest, skips and slides, sings and babbles and coughs, building his music out of a surprisingly varied register of sounds and clever rhythmic variations," The Village Voice said. Single ticket prices for Hot Guests in Salt Lake City $12, $15, and $25; group and student discounts dis-counts are available. Tickets for Fridays evening's backstage party par-ty are $20.
