Auditions held for 'Funny Thing' An open call has gone out for actors, singers, and dancers as casting begins for Park City Performances' production pro-duction of Steven Sondheim's A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Nature show produced by Mangelson When 100 permits to hunt the greater sandhill cranes which use Utah as a migratory route went up for sale, it's little surprise cinema tographerphotographer Tom Mangelson helped activists in their opposition to the hunt. For 15 years, Mangelson has been collecting footage from Texas to Alaska about both the lesser and greater sanhill cranes, and now he's put together a program pro-gram for WNET's Nature which will be shown on KUER Channel 7 Jan. 21. The program will be relatively free from controversy, but it will help demonstrate Mangelson's love of the species, which is the ultimate reason for concern. Mangelson has followed the cranes on their various migratory routes; tracking the lesser sandhills san-dhills from Texas to Alaska and the greater sandhills from New Mexico up toward the Canadian border.
