Alcoholics Anonymous Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon groups are now meeting on a regular basis in Park City at the Catholic Church, 121 Park Avenue on Mondays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and at the Memorial Building on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8 p.m. These meetings are open to all interested people whether or not they have a drinking problem. Hershey Candy sponsors a track and field program for boys and girls 9 to 14 years of age. Park City's local meet will take place at City Park, Friday, June 25 at 1:30 p.m. All first-place first-place winners in 50 meter, 100 meter, 200 meter, and 400 meter dashes, Softball throw and standing long jump will continue on to the state meet at the new BYU track in July. (624) KPCW's Health Talk Marital conflict will be the topic on KPCW's Health Talk this Sunday, June 27, at 5:30 p.m. Host Dr. Bud Keye will converse with Marian Ayers and Nancy Cowher, therapists from the Park City Family Counseling Institute. Temple Square concert series The Temple Square concert series will feature pianist Marilyn Collard, the University of Utah Wind Symphony, and the 562nd Air Force Band during the month of June. Marilyn Collard, a BYU graduate student from Idaho Falls, Idaho, will play in the Visitors Center North on June 11 and 12. Gregg I. Hanson will conduct the University of Utah Wind Symphony, in two different programs, on June 18 and 19 in the Tabernacle. The 562nd Air Force Band, featuring concert and jazz band, will perform June 25 and 26. All concerts are one hour and free to the public. (624) Ride and Tie deadline The fifth annual Park City Ride and Tie contestant deadline is July 2. All entrants must submit application for each (human) member of the team, pertinent information about the horse, and the $50 application fee to "Ride and Tie", co Park City Area Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 1630, Park City, Utah 84060. Entry fees contribute to the cash prizes awarded to teams. (71) Spring cleaning? KPCW's library is in need of new music. If you are leaving town and don't want to haul your old records around with you, or if you are tired of them and hate to throw them away, you can drop them off at KPCW, located in the Memorial Building. (tfn) Family planning clinics The Park City Community Clinic, a nonprofit family planning plan-ning program, will hold clinics in the month of June. Appointments Appoint-ments are available for morining, afternoon, and evening clinics. The services offered include physical exams, PAP tests, counseling and education, VD screening, pregnancy testing, and contraceptive supplies. Costs for these services are minimal or on a sliding fee scale. No one will be denied use of the clinic and all services are confidential. For information or an appointment, please call 649-5989.
