There were present Chairman Bill Wallin, Commissioner Gerald Young and Commissioner Carl Ovard. There was also present Mr. Reed D. Pace, County Clerk. After the minutes of the last meeting had been read and approved and the roll called with the above result, the following Resolution was in troduced in written form by Commissioner Wallin, and was read in full and discussed and thereupon pursuant to motion mage by Commissioner Young and seconded by Com missioner Ovard, was adopted by the following vote: AYE: Chairman Bill Wallin Commissioner Gerald Young Commissioner Cart Ovard NAY: None The Resolution is as follows: RESOLUTION giving notice of intent to create Summit County Wildland Fire Service Area. Whereas, upon this motion and pursuant to 17-29-1 et. seq., Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended, amen-ded, the Board of County Commissioners of Summit County is authorized to provide for the creation ot County Service Areas, and WHEREAS, the Board ot County Commissioners of Summit County on September Sep-tember 29, 1981 voted in support of a Resolution to Create Summit County Wildland Fire Service Area consisting of the property described herein, to provide fire suppression services for said area, and WHEREAS, a copy of said Resolution was filed with the Summit County Clerk within one month af ter said Resolution was passed. Section 2. The area proposed shall be included in-cluded in and designated as Summit County Wildland Fire Service Area. Section 3. Summit County Wildland Fire Service Area shall be created for the purpose of providing fire suppression service for property in the area. Section 4. A tax sufficient suf-ficient to pay for all such services which are furnished fur-nished on - an extended basis will be annually levied on all taxable propeprty within such area. Section 5. On the 10th day of November, 1981, at 5:30 p.m., at the Summit County Courthouse, Coalville, Utah, the Board of County Commissioners of Summit County will meet and hold the public hearing at which time and place all Interested persons per-sons may appear and protest, either orally or in writing, the creation of the proposed Summit County Wildland Fire Service Area for the furnishing of the proposed service. Property Proper-ty owners of the taxable property in Summit County Coun-ty Wildland Fire Service Area, as proposed, or persons per-sons being qualified voters within Summit County Wildland Fire Service Ser-vice Area, as proposed, may file written protests with the Board of County Commissioners within thirty (30) days after the conclusion of the hearing.
