If you are interested in a particular class, please let us know. We must have 10 or more participants to set up a class. The fee for most classes is $8 to $10 for six weeks, one evening or afternoon a week. The classes will be for one to two hours, depending on which class you take. Classes to begin in June are Tap Dance for children and adults, Ballet for teens and children, a Kinder Gym moms and tots exercise class, conversational Spanish for adults or children, and typing. For more information about these or other classes, please call Nan McPolin at 649-9417 early in the morning or late in the evening. Sewer District meetings The Snyderville Basin Sewer Improvement District will be holding its meetings on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month beginning at 7 p.m. in the district offices. Heritage Home Tour meeting A meeting for volunteer assistants for the June 20th Park City Heritage Home Tour will be held in the Dungeon, downstairs down-stairs in City Hall, June 12th at noon. Park City Historical Society is sponsoring the event and invites workers. It's fun. Try it! Citizen's workshop Park City Planning Department in conjunction with Gage Davis Associates, the city's consultant on the Comprehensive Plan Update, has scheduled a citizen's workshop for Tuesday, June 9 at 7 p.m. in Marsac School. The meeting will start with a progress report from Gage Davis Associates outlining the status of their studies. The second part of the meeting will be designed so that participants will divide into three groups to discuss in detail one of the three following subject areas: 1) Hillside development; 2) city services; 3) planning and zoning issues. Heritage Day The Park City Historical Society will Sponsor "Heritage Day" on Saturday, June 20th. Scheduled events include a Park City Historic buildings tour, slide presentations and speakers discussing Park City History, a local childrens art show, and bake sales. Specific times and locations will be announced an-nounced over the next few weeks. Plan on spending the entire en-tire day rediscovering Park City!!!! Citizen's forum: the: bond issues . t't: Th Park City Summit County League of Women Voters and KPCW are sponsoring a Citizen's Forum about the bond issue election. The forum will be held at the Memorial Building the night before the election at 7:30 p.m. on June 15th. This will also be broadcast on KPCW. A panel of speakers will give information about the proposed library, city parks, fieldhouse, and ice arena. Panel members will be speaking for and against these issues. The public is invited and encouraged to attent. Eyes discussed on KPCW The topic for discussion this Sunday, June 7, on KPCW will be "Your Eyes and Vision." This will be aired between 5 and 6 p.m. We intend to cover some general topics as in the questions below and we welcome your call-ins. Why do a lot of people have difficulty with bifocals? Why do we have to adapt to glasses? Are soft lenses better than hard lenses? How good are the new extended wear lenses? What is astigmatism and how can it be corrected? When should children have their visual examinations? What are the best sunglasses for snow skiing, driving, mountain climbing, water skiing, fishing, all around? Community Clinic The Park City Community Clinic, a nonprofit family planning plan-ning program, has scheduled a clinic for Wednesday, June 10. The program offers physical exams, PAP test, VD screening, diagnosis and treatment of vaginal infections, counseling and education, pregnancy testing, and contraceptive contracep-tive supplies. Cost of services is based on your ability to pay, and all services ser-vices are confidential. ("ill 649-5989 for an appointment. New numbers for animal control help Summit County Animal Control is available to respond to all complaints regarding animal laws and ordinances. All emergency calls (dogs attacking persons or livestock, and injured in-jured animals) are now handled by an answering service at 974-3309. This is a seven days a week, 24 hours a day number. All other calls, including stray dogs, barking dogs, and dead animals will be handled during regular business hours, Monday Mon-day thru Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call Park City 649-9072 or Coalville at 336-2503. Recipe book coming The Park City Women are publishing a Park City Cookbook. We need ideas and recipes from Park City residents. If you have a favorite recipe (or several) that you would like included, in-cluded, please send it to Park City Women, P.O. Box 2161. Personalize the recipe by including such information as where it came from, why you like it, how you've used it, etc. Also please include your name, phone number, and P.O. Box. Here's to good cooking. Ballet classes The Recreation Department is offering ballet lessons for adults and children. Call 649-9461 between the hours of 3 p.m. -10 p.m. Monday - Friday for further information. Mt. Metro schedule Effective June 1, Park City's Mt. Metro will resume its summer schedule. Buses will leave the top of Main Street on the hour and the half hour. Buses will be running city wide from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The bus will leave the top of Main Street on its last outbound trip at 10 p.m. Bus service will run Monday thru Saturday, with no Sunday or holiday service. There is no service before 10 a.m. on Saturdays. Immunization clinic The Summit County Health Department will hold an immunization im-munization clinic on Wednesday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to noon at the public health offices, 467 Main Street, Park City. Well-child clinic The Summit County Health Department will hold a well-child clinic on Wednesday, June 17 at the Memorial Building from 9-11 a.m. This is by appointment only.
