Make your reservations with these ladies. Registration information The newly formed Park CitySummit County League of Women Voters is encouraging voter registration as one of its first projects. You need to register if you are a new resident, of, if you did not vote in the last presidential election. A change of voting district also calls for reregistration. To find out whether or not you are registered, you may call the Summit County offices in Coalville at 336-5951. You may register now by adding your name to the rolls in person at the Summit County offices in Coalville, or, more conveniently, by picking up a mail-in registration form that the League has made available at the Park City Library. Library hours are, 10 to 8 Monday through Thursday, 10 to 6 Friday and Saturday, and 12 to 4 on Sunday. Maps are available to help you identify your voting district. County clean-up Summit County will sponsor a spring clean-up drive beginning begin-ning in May. Refuse collection will be made in the North Summit area beginning Monday, May 4, in the South Summit area on Monday, May 11th, and for the Park City, Snyderville area on Monday, May 18th. Rubbish and trash not acceptable for normal household collection should be deposited curbside or near dumpster areas. Large and bulky items should not be placed in dumpsters reserved for household trash. All materials to be disposed of should be in place by 8 a.m., as collection will only occur once in each area. All city and county coun-ty residents and landowners are invited to participate. Qualifications are one or more of the following: 1. Licensed architect or member of the American Society of Interior In-terior Design, with demonstrated experience in historic; preservation. 2. A member recommended by one of the following groups, a) Park City Historical Society, b) Utah State Historical Society, c) Utah Heritage Foundation. 3. A member living in the Historic District with demonstrated interest in-terest and knowledge of historic preservation. 4. A member from the Park City Planning Commission. 5. Herpes discussion on KPCW Herpes will be the subject of discussion this week on KPCW radio: According to the Park City Community Clinic, 20 percent per-cent of their patients have been exposed to the virus; as many as 50 million Americans may suffer from the disease. On Sunday evening, April 26th, KPCW will present a panel of professionals to answer questions and give information regarding herpes. This panel includes Gary Smith, MD, from the University Medical Center, will discuss the relationship between cancer and herpes; Bud Keye, M.D., from the University Medical Center, will address the issue of reproduction and herpes; Diana Maxwell, RN, Director of Park City Community Clinic, will speak on the incidence of herpes.
