They'll be told how they are doing, what the coaches think of their performances, and what people will be going to what race circuit. Ski racers will have to get results if they want to race for the team on an international interna-tional level. Marolt talks about one former racer who is no longer on the team. The competitive spirit dried up, he says. It happens to some people. There's only so much emotional fuel and then they might lose the desire. They become comfortable. They want to do different things. Challenge is an important element to Marolt's life. He says he'll continue as alpine director as long as the challengs continues. And for the moment, he sees no end to the challenge. He's too busy meeting, planning, working just getting the U.S. Ski team show on the road. He says he needs to be on ' the hill with the racers as much as possible. "I didn't realize," he explains. "I thought I'd spend more time in the office at first, but in order to do the job, you have to get the feel for what the kids are doing. You have to be around from day to day. You need to be out in the hinterlands fo see what's going on in order to make the best selections against Hinckley's Body Shop, the top team in the league with a 6-1 record. The game is set to begin at 6:15 p.m. The Silver Kings and the Buzzards are currently tied for the cellar in the four-team four-team league with identical 2-5 records. Second place is held down by the Salt Lake Flyers, who have won four games and lost three. Park City has been hampered ham-pered by the lack of a regular goalie, and has been forced to borrow from other teams. Anyone interested in playing goal for the team is asked to call Dick Buffet at 649-9753.
