P.C. Man Robbed Of $2,000 In Goods A Park City man was rob bed of nearly $2000 worth of items from his home sometime during the end of May. Dr. Jack Haskell of Holiday Ranch Loop Road, told police in a telephone converstaion the value of the items stolen. The burglary was discovered by the doctor's son-in-law, who was not aware of all the possible missing items. To date, missing is a color television valued at $398, a stereo system containing an am-fm radio and telephone valued at $800, a snowblower worth $700. The police speculate the robbery was committed by two people, because the stereo system weight more than 150 pounds. More robberies marred the Park City scene over the past week: Less Callahan of Wood-side Wood-side Avenue reported the theft of tools from a new home construction site on Norfolk Avenue, May 29. Stolen was a nail gun and box worth $480, a finish nail gun and box worth $355, and a drywall gun worth $115. Callahan said the tools recently were purchased and insured against theft. A game room at the Holiday Inn was vandalized June 1, with an undetermined undeter-mined amount of money in coins missing. A desk clerk from the Holiday Inn told police that when he came on duty at 11 p.m. all was in order in the game room, which contains five amusement machines, two pool tables, and one hockey game. He noted that he turned the lights off and closed the door, but that the door is always unlocked. When he returned to the room at about 2:20 a.m., he found all the machines had been tampered with. The police speculate that a large screwdriver was used to remove the change boxes from the games. The desk clerk was unaware how much money was in the boxes because the machines are owned by a vending company. The police said they are dusting a change box found in a garbage can for fingerprints, finger-prints, and the desk clerk gave a description of two young men in their late teens seen in the lobby area that night. I BiilKITE FARM MSIm f . IpNEWER HOME illlg Don't Shoot! A Duchesne County man was recently fined $750 in a Salt Lake City Federal Court for shooting a bald eagle. The man will also spend weekends in jail for two months. According to Clair Davis of the Division of Wildlife Resources's Vernal office, Glen Ross of Arcadia was apprehended earlier this spring, and the case handled by Division Conservation Officers Scott Davis, Nile Sorenson, Kirk Mullins and Kevin Conway. Chief Judge Aldon J. Anderson An-derson of the United States District Court in Salt Lake City suspended the $750 fine after Ross paid that amount to the Hogle Zoo bird fund. Judge Anderson also placed Ross on federal probation for two years. He will be unable to hunt during that period. The bald eagle is on the federal Endangered Species list. It and other birds of prey are protected by state and federal laws. 3X LSCO e 15- Starts f) n n gpr -w -w mill diRistopliei? "tye shall know him by his food.
