Educator, Herbert Mayer, feels that the relationship between delinquency and the environment is minimal. He says the environment is less influencial than normally nor-mally assumed. It's not the environment but the attitude at-titude of the person toward his surroundings that determine his ideals and his behavior, says Dr. Mayer. Dr. Mayer also feels the idea that values are caught and can't be taught is a major source of failure. Schools need to teach values directly and systematically. Parents and teachers must help children think and practice moral concepts Times In Park City: Channel 2 (NBC) is received on Channel 9 Channel 4 (ABC) is received on Channel 11 Channel 5 (CBS) is received on Channel 13 Channel 7 (PBS) is received on Channel 7 3:30 2 Hogan's Heroes 7 Wall Street Week 4:00 2 Wild Kingdom 5 Roundtable 7 Washington Week In Review 4:320 2 NBC News 4 ABC News 5 CBS News 7 Out Of Africa 5:00 2 Diff'rent Strokes 4 Family 5 Hee Haw 7 Pro Soccer 2 Joe & Valerie 2 $100,000 Name That Tune 4 Lawrence Welk 5 News 7 Seven Scene 2 Hee Haw Honeys 5 Dimension Five 7 Fiesta Latina 2 CHIPs 4 Love Boat 5 White Shadow 7 Consumer Survival Kit 7 Footsteps 2 Super Bowl Saturday Night Special 4 Movie Adventure 5 Movie Comedy 7 Live From The Met 2 Newswatch 4 Action News 5 Eyewitness News 2 Dean Martin 4 Movie Drama 5 Ironside 7 Live From Lincoln Center 2 Track and Field 5 Movie Comedy 4 McHale'S Navy 2 Get Smart 4 abc news 5 News 5:30 6:00 6:30 7:00 7:30 8:00 10:00 10:30 10:40 11:00 11:30 11:40 12:30 1:00 1:40 MOVIES 10:30 7 "The Cabinet oDr. Caligari," (Gerwn; 1919). 12:30 7 "The Plainsman," (1937) Gary Cooper 8:00 4 "Salvage," 1979 TV-Movie, TV-Movie, Andy Griffith 5 "W.W. and the Dixie Dancekings, (1975) Burt Reynolds like courage, personal efficiency, ef-ficiency, freedom, initiative and reliability. I know a school teacher who puts the name of a moral concept on the bulletin board each week in foot high letters. Each day the children spend a few minutes role playing different dif-ferent moral situations, discussing or writing stories about how they can use the moral concept during the week. At the end of the school year these children will be exposed to hours of useful character building experiences. Teaching morality isn't the whole answer to curbing rising delinquency, but it can make a difference. 10:30 4 "queen Bee." (1955) Joan Crawford 11:40 5 "Rally Around the Flag. Boys."
