Show TKEl Page 8 Wednesday, November 15, 1978 Resort Services Now 'Professional ITYCO-OP LISTING PARKC The Park City Planning Commission agreed last ! Wednesday night that Resort Services is a professional service conforming to the zone requirements of its Park Avenue location. The consensus did not come quickly, however, as the commission and those in attendance at the planning meeting sat through a 'engthy and technical debate over the implications of computer storage size. Other commission members listened listen-ed with glazed expressions as chairman Burnis Watts exchanged "biting" remarks with Resort Services' computer compu-ter programmer-operator over computer capabilities, with each trying to get the last processed word in. After cutting through the magnetic tape and dodging floppy discs, the commission concurred that compromises made by Resort Services qualify it as a "professional" service to be located at 820 Park Avenue, a residential area. Resort Services, owned by Dick Karri, describes itself as "an accounting firm providing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, re-ceivable, general ledger and basic property management accounting functions." A graphic and reproduction service originally planned for the Rio Grande Depot will be moved to the Mt. Air Mall, Karri said. During the approval process pro-cess (which has yet to be finalized), Watts had argued that the computer service, which is located hear his house, could become a retail operation selling computer output and packages not directly related to accounting account-ing functions.
