Show Wednesday, March 15, 1978 Page 9 Grizzly Adams Special Filmed Hit' Madiimi ration IM-tiiif New Bleachers June 17 r Gourmet Sandwiches ff Luncheon Salad Bar L A bid for new high school stadium bleachers was awarded to the Miracle Seating Products Company of Salt Lake City at the Tuesday meeting of the Park City High School Stadium Patrons. The $6,920 project is slated for installation on June 17. Kent Simpkins, a representative of the Miracle Co., met with the patrons and explained the nature of the all-steel, five- row bleachers which will extend ex-tend from twenty-yard line to twenty-yard line. The nature of the slope cut costs significantly, r.cted Simpkins, Sim-pkins, who will be on hand for the June project . The final bid includes 12 sections the four outer to be red and the two inner, reserved reser-ved for local donors, to be white. The stands will make use of two isles to facilitate exits and entries. The patrons also talked of the ul-ne ul-ne nt possibility of a later dition of a crushed gra walkwav to the relreshn stand. An additional $5(Ki was allocated for the purchase of Olympic weight equipment . Linda Arhizu and Steven Robertson play the two kids m their acting debut . Along the line, guest stars Diane McBain and Don Galloway will appear in the show. too. Jack Kruschen comes along, too. as Frostbite Foley, which makes a pretty good sized crowd in Adams' little cabin. The filming, which in volved a crew of about fifty Sunn Classic folks, took place above Park City near the Ontario Mine, and on several locations near Oakley, below the Smith and Morehouse reservoir. Much of the action of the show involves Grizzly Adams and his bear searching sear-ching the mountains for various lost flatlanders. so we should get to see lots of our familiar mountain scenery. The Sunn Classic group will be filming next in Florida before returning to Park City to shoot next year's footage for "Grizzly Adams" sometime this summer. McPolin Attends Conference Local resident Nan McPolin. Mc-Polin. chairman of the Summit Sum-mit County Council on Aging, attended the governor's mini conference on aging held last week in Provo. Six mini conferences for Summit. Wasatch and Utah counties have been held throughout the year in various parts of the state. Input from these conferences will be discussed discus-sed at the Governor's Conference Con-ference On Aging to be held Mav 9 at the Salt Palace.
