Ron Cooper and Gary Dolan Thursday "night presented plans for a horse-drawn horse-drawn sleigh ride service which would incorporate a daytime tour route and an evening shuttle service. Cooper glibly told the City Council that the Greater Park City Sleigh Company is proposing to base their operations at the Woodhaus sports shop on Park Avenue, offering daytime rides at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. and shuttle rides between Iron" Horse Road near Mt. Air Market and Heber Avenue every half hour between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Although briefly interrupted interrup-ted by Dolan 's young son, who proclaimed, "Dad, I got to pee," Cooper described the tour and shuttle routes. The 45-to-60-minute tour-would tour-would begin at the Woodhaus, travel north along the railroad tracks to Bumps restaurant at the intersection in-tersection of Iron Horse and Park Avenue, head east toward "Easy Street" and then south to Deer Valley. The sleigh would travel along a cross-country ski path in Deer Valley and then return to the Woodhaus. The evening shuttle would run between Bumps and the Utah Coal and Lumber restaurant. Cooper said the sleigh horse would be equipped with an apparatus capable of catching cat-ching 25 pounds of any deposit the animal may wish to relinquish along the way. Teachers' Materials Workshop The Marsac Parent Volunteer Volun-teer Program sponsors a Teachers' Materials Workshop each Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Marsac cafeteria. "These ladies are the ones who have really gotten out to help work for the school this year," commented Marsac principal Dr. Otis Falls. "Wheter they're positive or negative about our schools, these are the ones who've really been helping." During the materials workshop, volunteers work on projects drawn from a list of needs submitted by individual in-dividual classroom teachers. They pick up packages each Friday containing materials and directions. Projects to date have included number and letter games, visual aids and flashcards. Volunteers are currently readying bingo cards. Several mothers take home large projects and return with the finished projects the following week. Sherry Coehlo J.
